患者必须:

Pfizer RxPathways®

What is Pfizer RxPathways? 

Pfizer RxPathways® connects eligible patients, regardless of their insurance status, to a range of assistance programs that offer insurance support, co-pay help, and medicines for free or at a savings. Patients can go to the Pfizer RxPathways website or call a toll-free number to speak with a trained Medicine Access Counselor who will direct patients to Pfizer programs or other independent 3rd party resources. For more information about Pfizer RxPathways, please visit www.PfizerRxPathways.com. Patients can also call the toll-free phone number 1-844-989-PATH (7284) to consult with a Pfizer Medicine Access Counselor.

How does Pfizer RxPathways help patients? 

Trained Pfizer Medicine Access Counselors can help patients by connecting them to the Pfizer programs or resources that can best meet their needs, including:
 

  • Pfizer Patient Assistance Program1 - Provides free Pfizer medicines to patients who are uninsured or publicly insured via government-provided insurance and unable to afford their copayment. Public Insurance includes Medicare, Medicaid, Champus/TRICARE & VA. Commercially insured patients are not eligible.
  • Pfizer Institutional Patient Assistance Program (IPAP) – Provides eligible, uninsured patients with free Pfizer medicines through select federally qualified health centers, disproportionate share hospitals, and free clinics throughout the country.2
  • Treatment-Specific Hub Programs – Helps eligible patients understand their insurance coverage options and potential financial assistance options for specific oncology and specialty medicines.
  • Co-Pay and Savings Offers – Help eligible patients save on a variety of brand-name medicines, regardless of their income.3

 

Medicine Access Counselors will also connect patients to independent 3rd party resources, such as:

  • The Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) – A website that helps patients, caregivers and healthcare providers learn more about various biopharmaceutical industry programs and other private and public resources offered to those who need financial support due to their lack of insurance or inadequate prescription drug coverage. MAT is not its own patient assistance program. Go to MAT.org to learn more.
  • Rx Outreach – A nonprofit charitable organization that provides eligible patients with access to more than 500 medications at an affordable cost. To learn more, go to www.rxoutreach.org

What happens when I contact Pfizer RxPathways? 

If patients are having trouble getting access to their Pfizer medication, they can visit www.PfizerRxPathways.com to use the Program Finder or call the toll-free phone number 1-844-989-PATH (7284) to consult with a Pfizer Medicine Access Counselor who will work with them to map out their path to prescription assistance. To determine which available program(s) may be right for them, patients will be asked to answer four questions:

  • What is your medicine?
  • What type of prescription coverage do you have?
  • How many people are in your household?
  • What is your total household income before taxes?

 

Based on the answers to these questions, patients will be provided with a list of programs that may be able to help them.

The Pfizer Patient Assistance Program

What is the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program? 

The Pfizer Patient Assistance Program provides free Pfizer medicines to patients who are uninsured or publicly insured via government-provided insurance and unable to afford their copayment. Public Insurance includes Medicare, Medicaid, Champus/TRICARE & VA. Commercially insured patients are not eligible.

Who can get help through the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program? 

Both uninsured and underinsured patients may be eligible for help. To qualify for free medicine through the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program, patients must*:

  • Seek assistance for a medicine available through the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program for an FDA approved indication.
  • Meet income guidelines, which vary by product and household size: 300% FPL for Primary Care products (including Eucrisa) and 500% or 600% FPL for Specialty and Oncology products.
  • Be an uninsured/government underinsured patient. Commercially insured patients are not eligible.
  • Be treated by a healthcare provider licensed in an outpatient setting in the United States, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
  • Live in the United States, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.

Are patients who have commercial insurance eligible for the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program (PAP)?

No. Commercially insured patients (e.g., patients who get their insurance through their job or through a Federal Employer Plan) are not eligible for the PAP.

What Pfizer products are covered? Are there any exclusions? 

Pfizer regularly updates the list of covered products. For a complete list of available medicines, please visit www.PfizerRxPathways.com.

Also, medicines that are typically only administered to hospital “inpatients” are not available through the program.

To qualify for free medicine through the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program, patients must*:

  • Seek assistance for a medicine available through the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program for an FDA approved indication.
  • Meet income guidelines, which vary by product and household size: 300% FPL for Primary Care products (including Eucrisa) and 500% or 600% FPL for Specialty and Oncology products.

How does the application process work for the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program? 

Patients and their healthcare providers can begin the application process by going to the Program Finder on www.PfizerRxPathways.com. Enter the name of your prescribed medicines and follow the onscreen instructions.

For certain Pfizer medicines, patients and healthcare providers can complete the application process online through Pfizer PAP Connect. For patients who are unable to participate online, maintain a fully manual process.

Within 2 to 3 weeks of applying for assistance, patients will be notified of their enrollment status.

Do you require financial documentation as part of the application process?

Patients applying for free medicines may need to provide financial documentation with their application. Pfizer PAP Connect - Online Enrollment for the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program

What is Pfizer PAP Connect? 

Pfizer PAP Connect is a new way for patients and their healthcare providers to enroll in the Pfizer Patient Assistance Program1 online for certain primary care medicines4. Once enrolled, Pfizer PAP Connect will also let patients request refills and healthcare providers place orders, track medicine shipments and more in real time, at any time, from their phone, tablet, or computer.

How does a patient or healthcare provider sign up for Pfizer PAP Connect?

Patients and healthcare providers should go to www.PfizerPAPConnect.com to begin the registration and application process. Please note office staff can use the system after the healthcare provider creates an account and invites the staff member to register and access that account.

Is Pfizer PAP Connect available for all Pfizer products? 

Currently Pfizer PAP Connect is available for the most commonly requested primary care medications5 offered by Pfizer’s Patient Assistance Program. The full list of the products supported by Pfizer PAP Connect is on www.PfizerPAPConnect.com

For all other Pfizer medicines, patients and healthcare providers should follow the existing application process outlined on the Pfizer RxPathways website.

Will other medicines be added to Pfizer PAP Connect? 

Additional products may be made available in the future. For medicines not available in Pfizer PAP Connect, patients and healthcare providers should follow the existing application process outlined on the Pfizer RxPathways website or by contacting the treatment-specific Hub that administers their medicine’s PAP program.

Do I need access to a computer and the internet to use Pfizer PAP Connect? 

You can use a public computer, phone or tablet with an internet browser to fully use this service. You will need to be connected to the internet to access Pfizer PAP Connect.

Is Pfizer PAP Connect available on my mobile device?

Yes, you can access PAP Connect on your mobile phone and tablet using your browser, without installing an app.
